There's nothing like the information, guidance, and encouragement you get from acupuncturists helping students and other acupuncturists.
We all love the acupuncture profession and want nothing more than for YOU to enjoy a successful career as an acupuncturist. One day you will be where we are and hopefully you too will find a creative and effective way to give back to the bright brave souls walking in your footsteps.
This is only a partial list of the many great acupuncture practitioners out there giving their time, energy, and expertise to help strengthen the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Profession.

Kevin Doherty, LAc
Kevin Doherty is a licensed acupuncturist with a full time practice in Boulder, Colorado. He has a particular interest in helping new acupuncture school graduates open successful acupuncture practices He also provides coaching to new and struggling acupuncturists to get their acupuncture business management and marketing on track.
She is a leader in helping acupuncturists reshape our view of business, and has single-handedly established Community-Based Acupuncture as a successful business model practiced throughout the United States.
She offers conferences around the country to help acupuncturists who want to "make their practices accessible to patients through a low-cost, high-volume business strategy designed to make health care affordable."
Lisa has another website for the entire acupuncture community to help create a functional network so acupuncturists and students can ask questions, share tips, connect with each other, and strengthen the acupuncture profession.
As if that isn't enough, Lisa also has a video on Video.Google.com of her March 6th, 2007 Seminar at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine on "Marketing a Community Based Acupuncture Clinic".
It is 45 minutes and well worth the time to watch it.
Insights-For-Acupuncturists.com says (over and over again), Thank you, Lisa!
Bonnie Koenig, LAc
Bonnie Koenig, LAc is a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in North Bend, Washington.
Besides being a great acupuncture practitioner, Bonnie is a prolific blogger and a self-taught web designer.
Bonnie developed the Acupuncture Marketing Blog which provides Marketing for Complementary Health Care Providers.
It is the only Blog out there by an Acupuncturist dedicated to marketing for Acupuncturists!
The Acupuncture Marketing Blog is a super resource and forum for new (and us not-so-new) practitioners. Check it out and learn, contribute, or comment!
Bonnie Koenig, LAc developed an additional website for students and practitioners with helpful tools and resources.
However, what I like best about QuantumLifestyles.com is that there is a section for patients (or anyone) looking for general information about acupuncture.
There are short descriptions of Gua Sha, Cupping, Tuina, as well as explanations of 5-Element Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine Theory, and TCM Diagnosis.
Steven Mavros, LAc is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture and author of an amazing website providing information, resources, and online forums for acupuncture students.
Steven's website, TCMstudent.com has loads of news reports, topical commentary, product reviews, and study resources for anyone involved in the acupuncture profession.
Somehow he has managed to keep TCMstudent.com online without any advertiser dollars. He states that the website "is solely operated by donations by students, practitioners and organizations."
It is well worth a few bucks to keep this incredible resource available.

Elie Goldschmidt, LAc is a graduate of PCOM, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA.
Elie developed tcmdirectory.com for students, practitioners, and patients to search out anything from acupuncturists and chiropractors to books and art.
You can list your clinic website or advertise your services and in the process receive a valuable "backlink". This makes it easier for search engines and therefore, your customers to find you.
