Emperors College of Oriental Medicine

Academically, the school is top notch.
Aside from the standard classes required to sit for the CA boards, Emperors offers classes in Orthapedics, Dermatology, Pediatrics and Gynecology, as well as 3 nutrition classes. My instructors were all fantastic, and tried to prepare us for clinical practice as well as passing the boards.
I also really appreciated the diverse cultural experience. I went to school with South American, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Iranian students, among others. The faculty was also very diverse.
But what separates Emperors from the crowd is the clinic experience. The clinic gets enough patients that we didn't have to treat in teams. Also the externships were pretty amazing. UCLA, the Venice Free Clinic, the Arthur Ashe foundation and others. I also heard from a classmate that there is now a Veteran's Clinic on campus.
