Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine @ New York Chiropractic College.

by Katie
(Binghamton, NY)

I am a recent graduate from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and I would HIGHLY recommend the school to anyone interested in learning about Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

First of all, the school has a wonderful and very knowledgeable set of professors. They are not only great teachers but great clinicians. They are more than willing to make sure you get the best education possible. They will encourage and empower you on all the aspects this medical system has to offer. The academic curriculum is very extensive and well established. You also obtain extensive knowledge from both eastern and western medicine.

One unique experience you get that this school is that you are able to intern in an integrative setting, with chiropractors and other health care practitioners. You also have an opportunity to intern at a Veterans hospital.

It is also provides a great set of resources, such as a large library, anatomy lab with cadavers, full herbal dispensary, beautiful herbal garden, and many other opportunities for students to get a full learning experience.

Overall, my experience at this school was extraordinary!
