Dr. Konefal's formal training in acupuncture was back in the late 70's early 80's when tutorials were still accepted. She did her tutorial with the late ("magnificent") Ralph Alan Dale, Ph.D., Ed.D, A.P. (who Dr. Konefal describes as "definitely one of my heroes"). Dr. Konefal passed the Florida State Acupuncture Exam in 1981 and holds other degrees which include: B.S., M.A., M.S.Ed, Ph.D., & MPH. She is Certified or Licensed in Acupuncture, Mental Health Counseling and Learning Disabilities and continues to be a great contributor to the field and profession of Acupuncture.
