Janet Konefal

by John L.

Janet Konefal is the 1st person who ever did acupuncture on me.

Last I knew she was at the Univ. of Miami School of Medicine. I met her at an NLP workshop and she had been trained to work with drug addiction and prisoners.

She was very much a pioneer in developing a protocol for working with Addiction and Aids patients. She is also a terrific NLP trainer! With us at an NLP workshop (this was maybe in 1988-89) she only used points in the ear to demonstrate how sticking needles in your ear could contribute to a sense of calm and relaxation.

Incredible.

Apparently some Acupuncturist do not use ear points as extensively as Janet. I had to search a good bit to find any one who could do what I was talking about. She deserves mention. Janet is Great!
