Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago

by Anonymous
(Chicago)

I personally witnessed this school's administration exhibit prejudice towards students, tolerate sexual harassment, and encourage and allow certain "favorite" students to cheat. The education itself is more or less ok - after all, I passed my boards - but the administration makes the place a miserable place to go to school. The only real plus is that the classes are offered on nights and weekends (very important when comparing to Pacific) and you can actually graduate in three years as opposed to four or five. In the student clinic, the patients are very diverse, which is also an advantage, although I have heard that clinic procedures have been altered and that now it is less of a learning environment as much as a way to make sure the school is not liable in a lawsuit. I would NOT recommend this school.
