Question Regarding Nuts & Bolts

by Karly Bannister

Hi Lisa,

My name is Karly and I am a student at OCOM. (I wrote you earlier about missing your lecture.) I have just read your lecture notes and am really excited about building a website. However, I do not know the first thing about building one. Is there any way that you can assist me in the "nuts & bolts" of building an effective website?

Thank you so much!

Karly

Hi Karly.

Thank you for your inquiry. We are working hard to get the video and slides posted to the website so you can see and hear the "Acupuncture Website Marketing" seminar in full.

As for "nuts and bolts" for beginners building their own website; there is an excellent Guide written by SiteBuildIt! (SBI!), which you can print out here:
http://action-guide.sitesell.com/business-services.html.

These are the very same instructions I used (and continue to use) for www.Insights-For-Acupunctursits.com. I did not know a single thing about building a website and all I did was follow the SBI! Action Guide. It is hard work at first, but well worth it!

Let me know if you have any further questions.

On a side note... I am thinking about doing a pilot project where I take on 5 OCOM students or graduates and walk them through the process of building their own website. It would be spread out over the course of 8 weeks, with 1-hour "webinars" 1 to 2 times per week.

There are other criteria to be able to participate, but I thought that I would mention it to see if you or anyone else might be interested.

If you are interested in more information, please fill out my consultation form and I will notify you when I am putting the program together. (I can only take 5 people to start and I will not charge for my services as long as specific requirements are met.)
