SIOM 's program is unique in that classes are kept very small (31 students in the entire school)this allows for very focused and rich academic and clinical experiences, beginning in the first year.

The required study of Chinese language allows us to reference modern material straight from china as well as classical texts, while giving us an insight into the cultural context of Chinese medicine.
