Tri-State College of Acupuncture

by Kat
(New York, NY)

I transferred from Pacific College in NY, and it was the best move I've ever made. Tri-State teaches a palpation style of acupuncture, and turns out new practitioners who are at a much higher level than other new graduates from other schools.

I've noticed in practice how well prepared I really was due to my experiences at Tri-state. If I hadn't gone there, I wouldn't be at the same level of knowledge. Yes, it's a family atmosphere with all the eccentricities of a family, but if you're there to learn, you'll have better experiences than you ever believed possible. What's more, the teachers really want to give you their knowledge, so it was an amazing place to be!

I recommend this school highly - but don't go to PCOM, or if you do, only go for the first for semesters to get the basics, and then transfer to Tri-state.

Note on Transferring
by: Illyan Seem

We used to have room for 4 or 5 transfers into Year II, but with the current program structure that's no longer true. So please don't count on being able to transfer in!
