Good article and very informative. It is true that otherwise 'open minded' and nontraditional licensed acupuncturists get trapped in the mechanism of group think and convention belonging to a particular group. They can all too easily fall victim to relying on commonly held beliefs, without thinking objectively. 'Us' against 'them'. 'TCM' vs.'western medicine.' It is indeed a trap! More information like this needs to spread. United we stand. Acupuncture should be for the people! And the patients really don't care about politics, they just want to get better!
